Selling digital goods at online auctions is becoming very common in today’s market place. Many of the people that are selling digital goods are faced with one large problem. After an auction ends and the item is paid for they want their products to be delivered to the buyer right away. This saves you time as the seller and also allows a better buying experience for the buyers. The StreamingDelivery service allows you to list a product on your favorite auction site, have it paid for with PayPal and then we deliver your digital files to your customer.

As well as being able to deliver digital goods for your auction sales we also provide a full line of other digital delivery services. You can see more about our services from the “Services” section of our website.

Listing Directions for eBay

1. Add your digital product to your StreamingDelivery account
2. Decide on Auction Item Name
3. Log into your eBay account
4. Enter in your Auction name and description
5. Confirm your payment options
6. Submit your eBay auction listing
7. Set your IPN URL in your PayPal account.

1. The first thing you will need to do is create a listing for your product inside of your StreamingDelivery account. The listing form and directions on how to add a product to your StreamingDelivery account can be found here.

2. Your auction item name that you enter on eBay must be the same as the item listed in your StreamingDelivery account. If the names are not exactly the same there is a chance that your item will not be delivered after the items has been paid for. We suggest going to the product that you have added to your StreamingDelivery account and then copying and pasting the item name.

3. It is now time to list your item at eBay.
Log into eBay
Register at eBay

4. After you have signed in you will need to click on the sell tab to start the process of listing your item. You will first be promoted to select a category for your item. We suggest using the keyword search to find the best category for your digital product. The next page will ask you for your item name. This is where you paste the name of your product that you copied from your StreamingDelivery account. We also highly suggest that you create a description for your item. This is the information that people will see when viewing your auction and will help with your efforts to sell your digital goods.

5. On the 4 page of the eBay selling form (Payments & Shipping) you will need to set the email address for were you want PayPal payments sent. It is very important that this email address is the same as the one listed on your PayPal account.

6. The last step at eBay is to submit your listing. This is done on the 5 page of the eBay listing form (Review & Submit). After you eBay auction is successfully listed you are done at eBay.

7. The last thing you need to check is the IPN (Instant Payment Notification URL) that is listed on your PayPal account. It needs to be set to: http://ipn.streamingdelivery.com/IPN.asp

You can change your IPN URL at the following address: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_profile-ipn-notify
